June is camp season in Annapolis, which is a crucial part of the recruiting cycle. For athletes unfamiliar with the Naval Academy, there is no better way to dispel misconceptions and show what the school is really about than through a visit to the Yard.

Brenden Logan, a defensive back from Killeen, Texas, was one of the athletes to make the trip. He didn’t know much about the Naval Academy before they started recruiting him.

“The only thing I really knew about Navy was that they played Army in the biggest rivalry game in America,” he said.

His camp visit quickly changed that.
